SYNOPSIS

It’s the night before Halloween and everyone in L.A. is trying to finish their costumes for the annual West Hollywood Parade! Five friends prepare for the greatest night of the year – when horror of horrors – someone else steals their costume idea! Now with less than 24 hours to prepare they steal Anna Nicole’s precious Sugar Pie! That simple decision leads them into a hilarious collision of personalities culminating in Chinatown with a battle royale involving real life gangsters, a trio of female Ninjas, two undercover detectives and the deadly “Santa Ana Annas”, a group of Anna Nicole Smith obsessed drag queens who think Harvey stole the real Sugar Pie! A brawl erupts and everyone battles in a huge street brawl of flying fists, feet and wigs!! But don’t worry, Anna Nicole Smith saves the day when she clears up the Sugar Pie mess, hands the vase full of drugs over to the police and invites the gang to her Halloween party where they change outfits and become, Wasabi Tuna!

“…game cast (more Tim Meadows, please) bolstered by some sharp one-liners, sight gags and a blithe lack of self-importance, keeps aloft this lightweight camp comedy with a sharp sense of the absurd. Anna Nicole Smith, who appears as herself embodies the sort of candy-apple pleasures on which the film rises…”
Hazel-Dawn Dumpert • LA Weekly

“…you’ll probably think this is funny and it is.”
Johnny Huston • SF Bay Guardian

“Campy comedy with a game cast…”
SF Chronicle

“…frothy atmosphere of a glib sitcom, and the film zips along bracingly enough. Antonio Sabato Jr. has a droll turn as a hot aerobics instructor”
Paul Birchall • LA City Beat

“…cleverly colorful…”
Kevin Crust • LA Times

“Wasabi Tuna is campy fun made accessible to all – gay, straight, and everything in between.”
Daniel Kelly • DVD Talk

“Pure Camp at its finest and one of the funniest films I have seen in some time. Anyone looking for a fresh, original comedy needs to pick this title up today!”
Patrick Ricketts • VideoViews.com
